English as a Second Language

Welcome to ESL

Welcome to ESL

Welcome to the Pacific Grove Adult School English as a Second Language program!
Our ESL classes are for all people who want to learn English or improve their abilities in the language so that they can communicate better with their neighbors, their doctors, their children, or anyone they might meet in their everyday lives. Students will also acquire language skills that will help them in their current workplaces or enable them to find better jobs. In our ESL classes, we will engage in conversations, read stories, and learn to write sentences in every level of English. In addition to regular class work, all class levels use the Burlington English online program for English learners. This program provides every student with lessons that they can complete on their computers at home or at school. Classes are held Monday through Thursday. Join us!

*Minimum attendance is required.
